Waiting to hear if my max bid of $64k will be enough to get my 996TT.
The 30 day sales report shows these cars going for $64k to $68k at auction, if you guys were curious about what dealers pay for the cars.
2003 18k miles, Silver with charcoal grey interior and carbon package
Porsche CPO approved (I have to pay $3500 for a 4/48k warranty, though)
Cross your fingers!
Does anyone have a quick pic of silver/charcoal grey handy?

Also, I guess they get more for cars at the California auctions. This car was from Florida and Porsche leasing shipped it here.
I paid 70k for my 02 with 11,415 miles. I got it through a local Porsche dealership. It came with the 2-year Porsche CPO. The car was spotless. Artic Silver/Grey, 6speed with changer/bose upgrade, pzeros.
I bought it on 07/07/07. Lucky?
Three weeks ago I was rear-ended. I just got it back - they did a heck of a job fixing it. I'm now fighting a DV claim with the other insurance company.
My advise is keep looking.
I was told by the salesguy at Porsche that prices will continue to dip on the 996tt's for the next couple of months. This was in response to my question on whether or not I should dump it and start over. He told me to keep mine.
Be patient and if you see the right one - don't low ball yourself out of right car.
Good luck
