JIC 's a step back ?

so i was talking to a race shop , and im having my h&r coilovers swaped for my JIC's , and they basicly told me that the JIC are a step back from H&R's basicly a cheap japanese knock off of bilsteins ...since bilstein makes the H&R's . blah , that didnt make me feel good !

is that the reason for JIC to be more expensive than PSS9 / H&R ?

my car is in the shop going from JRZs to H&Rs... but then again i don't track my car and i live in NYC...

but i can say that for daily driving, i have been told that H&R and PSS9s are the most reliable and maintenance free!

JICs are a step closer to race, H&Rs are decent.

mark , no the car came with the H&R's, but the car handles sloppy steering felt loose not tight at all when u were going kinda quick or changing lanes at high speeds. it didnt feel safe , i had he car cheked for broken drop links but they were fine. so hopefully this solves the problem .. if not then i dont know what else it could be. ( it has front and rear adjustable sways, droplinks front and back, adjustable rear toe )

Wow, if that wasn't the most ridiculous statement. JIC suspension products are very high-quality, and I would be willing to pit them against H&R's top performance products.

In my tuning days, JIC are exotic items, and they are among the favorites of the D1 drifting series across the globe. H&R's are "close". I would say H&R's are "just" a step up from Eibach, and Eibach's aren't that great in my opinion. Even their most exclusive performance suspension components. H&R aren't bad, just, I wouldn't ever think JIC were "under" H&R.

JIC is an excellent company all around. They have been in the race scene for many years and I personally think they make a great product!

Ive had H&R for many miles and have pushed them through all types of terrain. Mainly canyons and track miles and never had any problem with stablility at high speeds.

If you are having stablility issues I would check your alignments and camber sounds like maybe a caster issue.

Actually the JIC are considered a step back in some circles. You can't judge by just the cost alone. The dollar to yen is what makes the JIC more/ Not the quality.

The JIC's are very good. I agree though, either way you are going to need an alignment and corner balance.
