Here are some shots in indirect sunlight. Atlas looks blue and black in this lighting. When I pulled it out there were wav streaks everywhere. This is the first time I have had trouble with RejeX but I think that the dealership must have used something funky.

The only thing I could find that would take out the streaks was P21s carnuba. I think I will use a strong paintwork shampoo and cleanser to get rid of all the previous crud and start from scratch. I now have a new respect for folks with dark cars... its alot of freaking work.

Here are some more photos...

Use some Griot's Paint Prep to clean all the old wax etc. before you aplly anything else. By applying the wax over certain chemical compounds can start hazing or clouding under the layers of wax.

Britt,

Ahhh - dark colors! They'll have you wishing for Arctic Silver pretty soon!

Use a microfibre towel to remove the wax (if you haven't already). Also, I used an orbital for my car (Basalt) and it came out perfect.

Looks great Britt. Wash the car with Dawn to ensure that all the old waxes and oils are stripped off.

Britt, looks awesome.

Like Sloth said, just use some Dawn to wash your car. That will take off your old Wax and stuff.

Deetz... i've had the car 2 days and already installed arctic interior, put in silvervision bulbs, and given it a full detail... what more do you want...?

First mods include... tinted windows, diverter valves, x73 or PSS9 suspension, short-shift kit, Stage 2 ECU upgrade, sport exhaust system, AVUS AF-501 wheels, natural grey leather steering wheel with silver crest (if I can find one), and more to follow.
