What is the difference between 100 & 200 cel cats?

 

A 200 cell cat does a better job of cleansing the exhaust gasses for emissions testing and the 100 cell cat offers slightly increased flow at the expense of less cleansing of the gasses. The 200 cell cat has more "cells" or surface area. The HP difference between the two is negligible and the 200 cell cat is more emissions friendly.

 

Could you provide weights for the two different exhaust options? Thanks, and I will check your website in case it's listed there.

Both of our 996TT exhausts weigh approximately 35 lbs. and the OEM is about 55 lbs. - roughly a 20 lb. weight savings over the stock exhaust.

 

Any chance of having some sound clips to compare the 60 to the 70?

Hi Guys,

This seems like a great deal but I do have one concern. I live in the UK and some of my friends who have fitted 200 cell systems have been lift with the engine light on, what causes this and how can it be rectified? Also, I am fairly new to this forum, who do I contact if I were interested in purchasing a system?? Cheers..

any update on the video clips ?

 

Alex, Hi. We are still working on it. We have a few customers who are going to send in some clips, but several live in colder climates which slows the process down quite a bit...we just got done digging out of 12" of snow at our shop this morning. I will let you know as soon as we have some, thanks for your interest!

Sorry, none yet - our test car is in storage for the winter and we have not received any of the customer videos that should be coming in.

 

Weather has improved slightly here. Should have my videos to John by the end of this week.
