SpeedTech X-cellerator NEW Dual Tips

Several of our customers have expressed a desire for dual outlet tips on our X-cellerator cross-flow exhaust. We have been working on it and have finally achieved a look and fit that we are very happy with - the tips will be going into production next week.

From here on, the X-cellerator cross-flow exhaust can be ordered with either the original single outlet, rolled edge, polished tip or the new, mirror polished dual tips. The picture below is our final prototype set, therfore, they are not polished. The picture demonstrates how they will fit and look. The production versions will have a perfect mirror finish.

Special attention was given to designing the tip with a transition to bring it up tight to the bumper cut-out in order to eliminate any gap that would make the tips appear too low on the car. This was an important design consideration for us and we are happy to have found a solution to attain this proper look. The new dual tips will come standard in mirror polished finish or optional ceramic coated satin black.

If any existing customers are interested in changing to this new tip style, please PM me for details. We are going to make them available at our cost to existing customers...

Here are a few pictures of the new dual tips:

put me down for the first set of polished to come out. I kinda like the unique look of the x50 tips or even different size tips, but either way this is a cosmetic upgrade to the single tips I have currently.

We ceramic coated our set of test tips to see how they would look in the optional satin black ceramic finish.

For anyone interested, below are a few images:

i think even bigger diameter would fill out better.....

how about making the diameter of the exhaust tips even bigger to help fill out the entire space better?

Guys, we have tried larger outlets and from our testing experience, larger outlet tips create drone and that is something we are trying to avoid with this product. In this case, the tip size is sound driven and although larger tips may fill out the cavity a little better, the end result would not be as pleasing to the end user. Since most users don't like drone, that is a high priority in our overall design.
