We recently designed mesh front bumper grill inserts for the 996TT, which replace the plastic OEM slatted pieces. These are made out of aluminum with a hex shaped pattern, powder coated black and water jet cut to shape. The goal was to design a grill that would cut down on debris entering the front radiator area, as well as, improve the front end appearance of the 996TT. We have now extensively road tested these for function/aesthetics and feel we have succeeded on both counts. Below are a few pictures.
