Rear subwoofer options

I've got an aftermarket stereo system in my car with lines going to the rear glass for a sub. I was wondering if there were any aftermarket subwoofer boxes easily available to go in the rear under the glass. Thanks!

There are many options for your car, unlike the cabrio which only have 3 options that I know of unless you want to sacrifice the rear seat.
The options are, 1) 8" sub on passenger footwell where the foot pedal would be if it's RHD, 2) 8" sub on left side of passenger footwell where the center console is, and 3) 2 8" sub behind the front seats. For coupes you have many more options and can build a box under the rear glass.

Would like to find a sub box for my Cab that would go in the footwell behind the driver and/or passenger seats. Never use the rear seats though not really keen on removing them either...

Any suggestions?

Reus Audio Systems has several custom subwoofer options that can be installed to look factory. I highly recommend calling Rick Reus @ Reus Systems for some options.

I went with an 8" powered bazooka tube amp. fits perfectly behind the rear seats.

Worked real good for me, no need for expensive amps/boxes etc.

Is this what you're looking for? If so, just do a search on yahoo "2000 996 cabriolet adam" and you'll find the box maker.

1999 C2.

if you are talking about the door subs, yes it does sound much better than that.

I replaced the factory amp and speakers also. 200 watt amp, Polk componenet speakers w/crossovers. Tweeters in the dash, mid in the doors.
Since the tube is powered, no need for extra amp. Spent like $400 on parts, installed myself.

Sounds much better than stock.

I'll post some pics later

My god-brother just send over some pictures of his old 99" 996 Widebody Gemballa Cabrio Stereo setup. I'm thinking about doing the same too.
