O.k. guys, I don't post here much (spend alot of time on Rennlist), but I've been a member for a while without formally introducing myself. So, I figured it was about time to broaden my horizons seeing that I visit here at least a couple times per day. Anyway, I just finished the install of my MKI aerokit and I can't believe the transformation. Everything is oem except for the wing, which I sourced from MAShaw. The wing was abslutely great with no fitment issues at all. I look forward to participating on this forum. Oh yeah, below is the obligatory picture (1999 996 tip daily driver, 77k miles (orig. engine), 15 mm spacers, k & N filter, RSS plenum, 3.6 liter exhaust can mod, 02 wheels). Scott.

Car looks great...how close are the rear tires to hitting the fender with the 15mm spacers? Any spacers on the front?

 

Rears have not given me any problems whatsoever...I don't think its even a risk. My car is not lowered though. I don't run spacers in the front. I have some H&R 7mm's, but they are not hubcentric and I had a bit of a wobble.
