Rear windows up when top is down
Man, I've had the cab for a year now and never thought of it!
Porsche doesn't allow the back windows to roll up when the top's down because they are frail and if someone were to lean on them, pushing the windows inwards they're very likely to shatter.
As for the Motion sensor, the infrared beam that is used to detect motion stays withing the confines of the car. It bounces off the inside surfaces of the car; the roof liner, windows, seats, ect. If you engage it with the top down, then someone can walk behind the car and set it off. So Porsche doesn't engage it to minimize false alarms.
But I like the fact you figured out a way to hack the system.
Thanks for the idea dude!
