Carrera's are not dragsters, keep in mind, 3rd, 4th & 5th are your acceleration gears. Chances are you will catch up and pass them especially since you have less mass (700 pounds less than a new M3 e.g.) and a low drag coefficient. Keep the faith in variocam in those gears. That's when I pass the C6 vettes my friends drive.
