Look what came via UPS today :) Cf hehehe

As my quest for carbon fiber has started i came upon a relaization that this stuff dont come cheap.. companies were selling cf roof wings for around 700 buxs ..

Since i am a cheap bastard (according to my wife)

i ended up ordering a roof spoiler in carbon fiber from perfomance products. as i punked down my 500 buckaroos... i hoped that it was at least of o.k. quality ..

with fingers crossed....

today the ups man left a gift at my door...

upon opening the Perfomance products box. i had a pleasant suprise.. the carbon fiber wing that they were selling was actually a CARGRAPHIC CF ROOF WING wow, didnt expect that at all , what a great suprise

here'sa few pics of the wing

the box

the actual roof wing, the weave is not as big and nice as the teqequipment stuff, but the quality is good nonetheless

here's afew pics of the roof spoiler on the car, i just used some magic tape to stick them on the car

i likehow the wing sits on the rear window not too flush and lifts off abit..

im not gonna be installing it yet on my car, im thinking of doing an extra special bling bling, before i put it on,

but if you guys want to see it in perosn i can bring it this sunday, for the exotic car run

Joe, can you bring it on sunday? did you get it from Performance Products in the SF valley? hmmm.. i bought a ton of stuff from them before and returned it because it was overpriced but i hope i can still get the discount on that CF wing...

Thumbs down

I think it looks really ridiculously stupid! What a waste of cash and it ruins the silhouette of the car. But, to each his own.
