Hello everyone, My first posting here hope i can get the answers.

I have a 1999 c2 and the oddments compartment lid pin came out, i'm having one heck of a time trying to get it back in and put the lid on. it just doesn't line up properly. I downloaded the repair manual from the uk site but it wasn't the same set up. any ideas? How is this put back together?

i've had the same problem with our '99 996. i had them address it when i took it in for an oil change. honestly, i don't know what they did to fix it, but they did it for no charge. i guess it must have been pretty easy.
