Thanks DjBrand1 for the sub enclosure! This is a must do! This JL 8 in. sub has incredible bass and really puts the finishing touch to the lacking factory sound system. I never thought you could get that much bass out of a 8 in. sub in a convertible.

 

I piggy backed the amp with the factory one. Here's a pic.

 

What did u use to wrap it. I have been contemplating rewrapping mine and wanted something like that.

 

Leather! Stretched it on with one piece. Fits like a glove.

DJbrand1: I went with a high end sub that had an oversized magnet so I had to make a template to offset the sub for clearance. Other than that, I give all the credit to you for a great enclosure. Thanks again.

what amp are you running and what's speaker are you using up front?

 

Very nice, looks OEM! Looks like very little legroom was lost. I had a similar box made out of fiberglass and carpeted, but fitted w/ a 10" sub.

 

Looks great, glad it went to good use.

imdrew12- if I made another one from scratch it would be kinda pricey. Only because of the labor time that goes into it.
