When my car arrives I want to start doing some mods. The first thing will be clear marker light covers. Where should I buy parts and see what parts are out there for possible future mods.

Suncoast. Here is the link: http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/me..._Code=996exttr

Also, some vendors on EBAY sell the unit with clear (see through) type. Other mods. depending on what it is you need to do research. Like exhaust, intake, ECU reflashing, suspension components, aerokit.

As far as DIY stuff, I would try ebay and price shopping as well. For exhaust, susupension, and/or ECU tuning, I would strongly recommend buying these things from the place that will be installing them. Most shops can offer you decent prices on all Porsche products, genuine or aftermarket. If there are any problems with installation or fitment, they are more likely to make things right on their dime, instead of yours.

As far as catalog parts go , try automotion.com. They consistently have good prices & run specials frequently. They will send you a free catalog.

I would suggest using the suppliers listed on the right side of your screen since they help to support this site - lots of good companies there...

I ordered the clear lens covers today, they should be here about the time the car arrives. Having forums like this, catalogs and the great people here, makes future modding alot easier. I think a short shifter may be a future mod and I will go to a shop for that. Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
