Hello members,

As part of a marketing research project for college, I have chosen to develop a marketing plan for the Porsche 911 and would like to get some first hand information from actual Porsche 911 owners based on the following question:

What is the number one reason you decided to purchase your Porsche?

I need 100 owners to respond to this question so I can complete this project. I appreciate your help with this project and look forward to hearing from many of you.

Thank you,

Jordan

I have always liked Porsches and wanted one. My car is more of a toy than anything else. The 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo has always been my dream car, some day I hope to own one.

Was a Vette guy since 89. Always loved the 911. Finallly in June I traded the Vette for a 2002 C2. Would have picked up a Porsche eventually. Immediate reason, 2 back seats for the kids!!

Who else makes a high performance convertible with 4 wheel drive ( I have a C4) that has the reliability of a Porsche? Year round all weather performance not available anywhere else.

Then again I have been driving Porsches for 33 years, long before I got a convertible with 4 wheel drive.

For me, it was the design and engineering aspect.
The design is still one of the best after decades and the engineering gives exotic car performance in a safe, reliable and comfortable daily driver.
I wanted one since I was 10.

Mine was the feel and status of the Porsche, I consider my Porsche ownership to be a trophy to myself, a reward for the strategic business planning and accomplishments of systemic goals.. I'm done playing with all the rest, I wanted to play with the best, Porsche, there's no substitute!!
