Where can I get a silver crest for my 3-spoke steering wheel?

I want to change out my gold crest on my steering wheel for a silver one. Can this be done? Does anyone know where I can get one?

Thanks in advance!

I had search near & far for more than a year now. Finally, I had mine done by putting out under the sun for a week over the summer. The crest became silver everything else look fine. I got many people from run & meet asking where did you get that silver crest. I just smile and walk away.

LoL... please don't tell me this is the only way? My buddy bought a steering wheel that already had a silver crest (unless this was faded as well), is this an option when purchased brand new? Is the existing gold crest on the 3 spoke steering wheel stuck on by an adhesive?

try gert at carnewal board sponser. you have to buy the complete airbag portion due to how the crest is mounted.

there was someone selling a crest that mounted over the stock version but that was not a good idea as it would become a projectile in the event of the air bag deploying.

yes...you have to or should buy one with the air bag as a complete package. It is not recommended to just pop off the gold one and put a silver on it. The reason is if the air bag deploys that little piece of metal can injure you if it simply pasted on there...I wanted to switch mine out too but after I learned about it...I decided it was not that big a deal....and its fading nicely by itself...so I will have a silver one soon enough! Another beny from owning a cab!
