996 MY Differences breakdown

Anyone know someplace where the differences of each model year are laid out?
for example-
3.4 motor for years xxxx
3.6 for xxxx
glove box on years xxxx
headlights on 99 vs later years. etc etc

i am in the market for another since my 99 was totaled last week.
I am digging the early C4...

thanks in advance

edmunds web site has specs for each year going back awhile. the URL pattern is also predictable. so plug in whatever year you want in the URL below:

Except 99 C4s are 2000 Spec and have the 300hp engine a drive by wire. 99 C2s are not drive by wire, they have a traditional throttle cable.

Engine cooling may be revised but the cars run no cooler...the temp gauge was redesigned to be less sensitive and show less variation.

you guys are freaks.... I knew I could count on this group.
Thanks.
I had searched around, but nothing was all in one spot... like how ray had put together.

do I understnd correct? The MOST is not on the 02... only 03+
I get the feeling I don't want the MOST at all as I will likely go to aftermarket setup.

I haven't driven a 3.6, but have read around that the 3.4 has more of a quicker revving feel... almost motorcycle like... when compared to the 3.6. when reading that I get the feeling the 3.4 driving experience will be more fun even if it does have a few less horses.
hmmm. I guess I will have to test drive a 3.6 tomorrow.

That's certainly one persons rumor, but I've never seen any evidence to prove it. Do you have any?

It would seem silly to improve the cooling to the front radiators for zero benefit.

Just passing on info that I got from a very good source...dont shoot the messenger. I am sure the benefit is outside of most peoples average driving situations, as its not as if the 99-01 will overheat. And the only time it goes up is when in traffic and NO airflow over the radiators, not sure how better airflow will help out when there is no air going through the radiators. Now I think on a track, the extra cooling will help.

I think it is impossible to overheat a 1999 even when tracking. I've done extremely long sessions (i.e. fill up tank to full, no lunch break and only pull off to stop for more gas or a quick 1 minute pit to swap passengers on a very short and technical lower speed track which is very hard on brakes and cooling in general) and have not been able to overheat my car. Ambient temps were very high during the summer too.
