Well, CORNER SPOTS. I found this interesting, I was at Crystal Cove this past weekend , of all the different amazing cars- almost ALL P-car owners took corner spots...

LOL - I do the same in open lots...hate door dings you know...I also usually park faaaaaaaaaaaaar even if it means walking longer...nice when no other cars around

 

Seems like those curbs have eaten up some tires over time... I bet a few rims also...

I always take an end spot... Only have to worry about one door instead of two and can put space between the cars.

I try to park away or on a corner spot, also not under or near any trees. haha

 

whoa, forgot one more...this guy was waaaaaaaaaaay out in the far corner of the lot.

 

I always park far away from other cars when possible. Occasionally some knucklehead will park right next to me, once so close I could not open the drivers door.

 

I call it strategic parking...

only one door to worry about... and when I do parallel parking, I'm either the first one or the last. Hate being in the middle. Everytime I parallel parking in the city, some a$$ manages to back up into my front bumper
