if you get the interstate MTP-H7 battery it is a perfect fit in an 02 996 & identical in size to the moll battery and has the 6 screw in caps on top etc. - vent tube in same spot & same size as MOLL. I looked at the MTP 93 and MTP 91 but ended up with theMTP H7.

wross996TT,
I took your advice and purchased a MTP-93. It is a direct fit for my 2004 TT. However, the vent tube doesn't fit; what did you do with the vent tube?
Thank,

Go back to interstate and ask them for the vent tube. They don't give it to you unless you ask them for it for some reason. I had to go back to pick up my adaptor to use with the oem tube.
