TechArt Rear Wing Issue

So I bought my '00 with the TechArt wing already on, but when they did the install they never disabled the trouble light for wing the wing articulates above 65mph(I think)....does anyone know a work around to keep the light off? The red glow is making me nutty! Thoughts I have had is pull the dash and unplug the light, yank the fuse if it only is for the light, or do a loop back for the switch in the engine comp......but before I blaze a trail and reinvent the wheel, I was wondering if others have run into this?

Thanks a ton....and this board ROCKS!

Tom at Lucent did mine by rewireing something in the engine compartment. He bypassed something and my light has never come one.

that is almost like teasing....but it is a start....I think a closed circuit on that switch should shut off the light.....or pop the fuse...time to take the plunge.....I will post on the outcome

Call Tom At Lucent I'm sure he has the wiring diagram to bypass the light. Good Luck.

Burner,

I posted a wing problem several months ago and was able to fix the same problem. Go to search and type in c4s wing and you will find my post. all you have to do is just replace the wiring harness with part number 996 612 07051. It's a plug and play. Should take only 15 mins. Good luck.
