This may be with a CPO warranty, not sure how ir would work with a third party warranty.
Its not a new policy, its how warranties work. They dont offer you a warranty on EVERY item replaced, its the whole car. So if you get an altenator or an entire engine, when the warranty on the car expires, everything expires. If you REALLY complained, Porsche would sometimes give you a 2 year warranty just because you made a stink. I would still call PCNA and ask, cant hurt. I was going to but I decided it wasnt worth it.

Thats for a factory warranty when Porsche pays for the parts. If a 3rd party company pays, you get 2 years warranty on anything replaced because Porsche has a 2 year warranty on parts.
