They just make your car sound louder, like a CUP car...much louder at high RPM's and good and normal RPM's.

I'm with Relentless on this one...

Take a look at some other exhaust options...by pass will be fairly LOUD!

I feel more power on the bottom but i wouldn't get it unless you are ready for a headache. I'm read to take it off now. It does sound cool but i'm gonna save it for the track.

I go with this as my daily exhaust set up. It gets really loud if you get on it, but its still a really loud normal drive. Makes you feel like your in a sports car at ALL TIMES

I have the bypass and have been running it now for about six months. My car is a daily driver, my commute is about 10 minutes. (Barely time enough to warm her up.) I have taken several long trips in the car and been on some Porsche drives. My opinion...I LIKE IT! I know it's not for everyone, but the sound is intoxicating. I have had no problems with the police because it is too loud and under normal driving conditions, it's not all that bad. When you are on it....WOW...like Kirby said, it sounds like a cup car!

With regard to any gains, the only thing I noticed (Which if you ask me, is a gain...any chance I can get to lighten the car up a bit) is that you immediately lose about 55lbs with the dropping of the mufflers. I was hard pressed to spend $2000 for an aftermarket exhaust that one, gave me modest if no gains and two really didn't sound "that" much different. Additionally, I think the cats are different on the 03's and newer (but can't confirm), the exhaust note on the stock exhaust is good. I would either go with stock or Fabspeed. Can't beat the price $500.
