Eric, I'm not sure if you are inquiring about mine...the first project 996 (vesuvio) cost about $30,000 to complete. The second (iris blue) has cost me about $14,000, not counting mods.

Again, you did a great job on the rebuild & mods.
Here are my project cars. The Vesuvio one went to a new owner a couple months ago. The Iris blue car is almost done and a OEM MK 1 aero kit is waiting to be installed. Iris Blue has Billy Boat headers & mufflers, EVO CAI, RSS plenum, GIAC flash, B&M SSK, PSS9s, factory LSD.
Hello mfletch
How's the rebuild going? I read the above post and would very much like to join you guys for a track day. I have a few other friends interested as well. It would be nice to meet you and other local Porsche enthusiast. Thanks djhill

Hi DJ, the rebuild is going great. I still have a couple minor things to fix, but for the most part, it's done. I can drive it now. You should see me cruising around. I'm going to have Rod at Car Audio Innovations give me an estimate on installing my Alpine head unit and Amp. this week. Loren, Chuck, and Adam are all local. It would be great to get a bunch of us together for a track day.
How do you like your 40th? Anytime you want to go for a spin up Salmon Falls, let me know. My number is 916-941-6639. I'll look forward to meeting you in person. Mark

....Reborn isn't very far away either...I bet if we did a track day at Infineon, we could get some of the bay area guys to join us.
