Amazing job Gil! Those scratches looked deep. The toughest of all colors too!

I wet sanded the panel, compounded it and then polished it. Followed up with a hand glaze and wax.

I have a detail shop, it's what we do daily.

Oh my, that's incredible. Got more detail "after" pics? Those scratches are deep. Is this car being sold? I doubt a negligent owner would spend money detailing a car unless it can't be moved without some fixing.

Amazing what you can do.

No, it was a girl who I was demonstrating what I can do on her car. She'll have the entire car done later this week.

They looked awful deep to me, it is hard to believe you could wet sand them out and not go through the clear.

On real deep ones you may get a little color in the water but the alternative is to paint. Polish it out, keep it waxed regularly and it's fine.

3M 2,000. My advice is get a hood at a junk yard and **** it up until you're good to go on a real car.

wet sanding is something you don't want to mess with if you are not comfortable.

Like Gil said get some panels from the junk yard and work on it.
As you get better you can do on clients cars.
