my 2000 carrera
hi everyone just got my first porsche a 2000 911 carrera. the colour may look like silver but its actually what they call mirage metallic. sorry for the pics but i live in montreal and theres no way its going in the snow. my garage is kind of full, still trying to clean things up. i have to say i sold my 1990 corvette and that was very different. i mean the porsche drives like a dream. when i would go 120km/h in the corvette i feared for my life. in the porsche i do not even notice it. at first the clutch to me was very hard but in time i got used to it. i have to say iam in love with this car and the only problem is that the car is not loud enough for me. i think the sound is nice but just a little low. so my next upgrade will be a sports exhaust. just wanted to know what you guys think of the car. thanks

Congratulations.....I have a 2000 996 as well and am very pleased with it.....I bought it Dec 23, 1999 off the showroom and all I have ever done to it(besides mods) is routine maintainance...I've had 5 Porsches and the 996 is the best yet....and the first thing I did was change the mufflers to create some noise.
