# of Evo superchargers?

I am wondering how many 996 evo superchargers are out in the market now? Is everyone happy with the performance etc...

From what I have seen, the US has far more modaholics than anywhere else.

Hi Todd;

Congratulations on the number of units sold.
I can see the numbers going up as more 996's are coming off of factory warranty.
HP is expensive but I think the S/C is the best HP/buck for noticable power gains on the na 996.

btw- on the S/C units sent to Rob at SCarGo, my unit did not have a serial number plate. Just curious on the number of my unit.

I read a story about your blowers in a Porsche magazine. I showed the article to my wife and she thought it was a splendid idea!!! I think it had partially to do with the fact y'all are in AZ. How we miss Scottsdale!

First she tells me to by the 996, now she's into the blower too. Guess I'll let her keep me for a while longer...

I'll have to wait for that annual bonus...

Hi Eric;

After getting enough seat time (my S/C is my daily driver) I can honestly say I'm very happy the S/C's performance.

Wishlist of improvements I would like:
1. Bring the big boost earlier from 4.5-5K down to 3K. For those stoplight to stoplight runs and pesky turbos
2. I know shifting the power curve down to 3K there would be too much pressure at 7200rpm, bleed off some of that pressure so max boost can be kept for a longer duration till redline.

Congratulations Todd!

45 units to date and counting! Lots of great press about the system. Seems like everyone is happy with the mod. With the advent of the 997 and as pixrken mentioned about the quantity of 996's coming off warranty, the relatively inexpensive option to SC a 996 looks like a good bet.

BTW I sent you a pm. We have a little unfinished business to take care of...

Hey Todd, my SC is still running strong and I am still getting crazy good milage but the CEL keeps coming on every 500 or so miles with the same code of too high an idle. Also now my seat belt warning light does not come on. Is there a connection? I may still bring you the car this winter. Will
