GTI ED is infamous around these parts
Post

Thanks for the input to be honest the company that makes them did tell me that they will be offering them with a switch as well. I just thought it was cool with the remote control, but I understand about maybe losing the remote etc.. Hell yea I can't wait my self I want one to. It's taking sometime to release it because it has a lot of little parts that make it work. Will keep you all posted once I get the go that they are ready.

Eddie

Sheeeit.. That is amaazing! Hardwired switch FTW

But that would seem to be a problem for me, because my car barely gets by without scraping the front lip on most things and it would tear that thing right out from under the car!

Maybe you could mount it in you lower grille opening. When it came out it would sit up in front of your bumper. Think that would work?

All the front plate tickets i've paid for would have paid for this mod! Cops are sticklers here in S. Calif. Count me in when they are in actual production. Wonder if it can be wired to our car alarm rather than a seperate remote. That way, I don't have to worry about forgetting to flip the switch when I park.
