yep cool- I have been looking into it to eliminate the "no front plate" parking tickets.

these are all "swing up" kits-

But the slide-under kit in the video is awesome- wonder who makes it.
Here is a manual one: http://www.formulaimage.com/products...px?prod_id=550 and they claim to have an automatic one coming soon: http://www.formulaimage.com/

Another source with video: http://www.ninosport.com/Altec-Show-...te-holder-400U
Might not be too tough to attach a motor / actuator and switch.

Ya gotta love that, and it serves the double purpose of protecting the bumper undercarriage from scrapes

explain this to me, no front plate parking tickets?

they give you a parking ticket + a ticket for no front plate just for having your car parked on the street with no front plate?

^ Actually, in L.A. you can be parked perfectly legal and get a ticket for no front plate. $25 bucks a pop and not even a fix-it ticket. Sucks.

Same thing in MD.
Once got a warning for not having a front plate. I didn't want to drill the front bumper. This would've saved me.
