PLEASE HELP!! Cruise & brake lights NO WORKIE!!

1st: My cruise control wont work, I keep pressing the on/off button but the green little light on the dash wont come ON.. I can play with it when my car is off, but won't come ON when the car is ON..

2nd: When my headlights are OFF and i brake, my brake lights come on and my driver parking headlight comes ON?!?!

3rd: When my headlights are ON, the brake lights are ON, as if i was braking..

Brake lights and cruise share the same fuse which i checked..

Sounds like a possible faulty ignition switch. That can cause a lot of wierd symptoms.

+1. possible faulty ignition switch......it's a DIY. Get the switch from ebay...~$30 or so.

+1 gnition switch....Also check your bulbs in your tail lights....I had a guy tell me in an older car that my wiring harness was shot and it would need $1000 worth of work...I took it to another guy and he said, oh, thats just a bad bulb...lol....hitting the brakes would trigger the hazard lights.....a bulb fixed it.

Possibly contributed to it but probably not the root cause.. did the issues start soon after installing the HID's?

I would tend to agree with the faulty ignition switch consensus. It can really do wierd stuff like what you are describing.
Like Newport said it might not hurt the check all of your bulbs first, make sure the contacts are all clean, dry and tight and no faulty bulbs. you may get off easy

don't feel too bad- I have a possessed alarm and cannot for the life of me figure out why it goes off sporatically. No way to lock car without arming alarm. My neighbors love me..
