Meridian Automotive Design Opinion
Has anyone used Meridian Automotive Design in Los Angeles to upgrade their 996? I want to install the Fabspeed exhaust system.

Hi Mike and welcome to the board.
Most of the guys in the L.A. Orange County area use Lucent for the P-Car mods. The place is run by Arling and Tom both 6speedonline members. I've heard of Meridian and they are a board sponser, like Lucent but I haven't had any experience with them.
I can vouch for the "fantastic" work done by Lucent though.

Just about anybody and thier sister-in-law can install an exhaust system... so I cannot imagine it getting goofed up.
I have Not heard anything bad about Meridian's work.
I have heard nothing but Good about Lucent's work.
I suggest that you talk with both and go with whomever you have a good feeling about and also works for you logistically and financially.

Several of the Meridian people came from By Design where they worked on my car and they were great. You might also want to check out ByDesign. Just depends on what part of town you live in

try Speed Gallery in Ventura...
I have most of my mods done there...
Lucent is great as well...
always had good experience with Arling, never the bads...

The guys over at Meridian are enthusiasts... Their Love for the exotics has translated into tuning facility that turns out some amazing work.. Chances are after you leave there. exhuast will be just the begginning of the mod list for you..Use them with confidence .. Great bunch of guys.

LUCENT is by far the best shop in WLA. There is not even a close second on the Westside. Other than SP Engineering, which is far from me, it is the only place I buy stuff from.
They are so good that even their "competitors" use them for alignment and installation work! Tom is simply amazing.

think the meridian guys specialize in ferrari's, where as lucent is more a porsche shop. but Danniel is pretty cool over there. it's obvious Lucent is the KING OF PORSCHE MODS FOR WEST LA.
