Turbo seats vs Sport seats

I want to upgrade my seats. I don't fit in the GT3 seats, so I was considering either sport seats or Turbo seats. Is there a difference? I like what has been described as "sport seats" with the painted backs and the crest in the head rest, but I've never seen them in person. Are Turbo seats the same?

yo john there's no special turbo seats dude.

it's either the regular seats which you can get int his really crappy looking "supple" leather... boring seats...

or get the sweet sport back seats. now the color matched backs are optional as well as the crest.

i have the sport back seats in arctic silver with crest in the headrest area. it's the only way to fly high

check it:

Check it where? Where? There was no link. Is the base the same and just the backs are different?

as u can see, without the painted back it doesn't look nearly as nice.

ideally you'd get one with painted backs to match your exterior, crest in the headrest. i hear some come with heated.

just a heads up...I have sport seats and love them, but my brother who has wider shoulders then me does not like to sit in the seats. His back does not contact the seat since his shoulders first touch the bolstering. Difficult to explain, but I would suggest sitting in some before changing anything, especially since you mentioned being large. I wear a size 40 suit if thats helps

what's funny is the 993 sport seat plastic backs look the best. it's the most aggressive and makes the 997 and 996 sport seats look... kinda too normal looking. check it out you'll see what i mean.

Ditto! I like the 993 version better. Do you know those can be fitted into 996?
