They are cast, not forged. 3 piece look not true 3 piece. Probably not good track wheels but great for daily drivers or those who wont just pay big $$ because someone else says so. These wheels look great.
I've also seen them cheaper.

Dan- do you have any pics of these on a pcar? I'm wondering how the all-black wheel would look on my black 996. Maybe with a silver rim stripe?

Questions:
Is the stripe painted on or is it tape?
Wheel offsets?
Lip sizes F/R?

I reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly like them.. and I don't usually like any changes from stock rims

nice, I can kind of see them in your avatar - post some pics!
What size tires you running, and how did you get yours in a polished finish?

Dan- would still like to know:
Is the stripe painted on or is it tape?
Wheel offsets?
Lip sizes F/R?
Is the silver wheel a "Porsche silver" paint or different like "hyper silver"?

Ther's not much info on the Axis site for the pcar wheels.

From Axis's website pin stripes are oil based and hand painted,
http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels.php?id=penta_porsche

Dan - I am interested in Matte Black with Silver pinstripes for my Artic Silver 996
Is there a pic of these or any Matt Black on a Silver 996?
