EVOM V-Flow CAI 3.4 to 3.6 question

Hi, I sold my 3.4 996 and got a 3.6
I took out the V-flow that was fitted in my 3.4 and planned on installing it in my 3.6
Tried doing this today and found it doesn't fit. There's a pump mounted to the body on the left hand side of the engine bay that blocks the cold air inlet.
Has anyone swapped out their V-flow from a 3.4 to 3.6 before? Does this pump have to be relocated or is there a difference in the 3.4 Vflow and 3.6?
Thanks.

No, another manual coupe, black, looks like yours, I'll post pics soon, going with the GT3 lip mod you've got too. I spoke with EVOMS supplier over in the UK and they mentioned that the pump is to do with emissions and would need to be slightly shifted. Just wondering if anyone else has come across this. Apparently the VFlow is the same dimmensions for the 3.4 and the 3.6 but it's way to big to fit the gap left by the stock air box... weird...

that's odd indeed- here is a shot of my engine area with KN. are you talking about the black thing to the left of the intake snorkel?

Congrats on your purchase!

Hi, there is a bracket that moves the secondary air-pump to the side. I will look through some of my stock and see if I have one for you.

Haha, aftershave, mints and sunglasses, like your style... It's the same pump as you've got, to the left of the down tube on the k&N...

Tim thanks, is it a simple bolt on or do I have to redrill?

You are missing the bracket that moves the pump to the left! Call Evo and tell them you need the bracket to move the pump. I know because I tried to put a Evo airbox in without moving the pump. Once I moved it, I had plenty of room.

One more thing about the evo, you do not have to drill any holes. I believe it is the best airbox available.

I was looking to install an X51 carbon airbox from a 997 in my 2003 nb. The only thing that I could see interferring and causing a problem was this pump. In the 997 the pump is in a different location. I wonder if the EVO bracket would allow enough clearance for the X51 box to fit. Any opinions?
