Current value of my car?

Hey Guys,

I thought this would be a better place to request a price check on my car, instead of KBB or just by browsing auto sites. Below are the pictures of the car. It is a 2002 911 Carrera and the only additions to the car are the GT2 Misha wing, Exhaust, and a Turbo front bumper. I still have the OEM turbo rear bumper (which needs to be adjusted for fit) and the original front bumper and back panel. Since I have been traveling a lot more due to work, I am most likely going to sell the car and settle down with a toyota.

Thanks in advance!

Model: 2002
Miles: 69450
Make: 911

I was expecting to get in between 34 and 35k, due to the few add-ons.
Thanks again for replying guys.

C'mon man, play by the rules. You've been here long enough to know you need 100 posts to put something up for sale.

If you want the most money out of the car, return back to stock and sell the mods.Just by seeing what cars like yours are selling for I think anything over 32 K is a stretch.

^ +1 - put stock items back on, sell wing / exhaust etc.

The higher mileage will affect selling price the most IMO, which is why I also say low 30's.

Suggestion> Get off-lease toyota for cheap, keep pcar and enjoy on weekends etc.

I am not a mod but I dont consider this to be similar to the last 2 noobs who tried to sneak in a FS add by asking a question. Before I clicked this thread I was expecting to bash him. But he never listed a price, just was asking for help. Now he pushed it with his other post where he states the price he will list it at, there he is stepping on the line

Yes it is a 6sp.

To everyone saying for the 100 post rule, I am aware of that and i am not planning to actually post the ad on 6speed until I do plan on selling the car and I am at 100 posts. I am merely researching the price and seeing my options. Also, I have been a member for a while and I don't really post much to begin with, so please don't start flaming right away.

Yes, thats why I want to sell the car instead of racking up many more miles on it. Suggestion sounds great but I wanted a newer model toyota and my plan was to use the money from this car for the new one.

Also, would you guys think doing a trade-in would also be a good idea?

Sucks that the market is so soft now...but yeah I would guess low 30s as well.

as for the nature of this thread..maybe we should have a PRICE CHECK subforum. Where people can get advise on worth and value? From both ends...from sellers and buyers. They can post and ask the masses their opinions on value.

Mods just have to be diligent in policing the forum and locking threads once the OP gets his or her answer.

for example -

Hey 6 speeders I want to sell my car I dont know how much? Please help.
maybe 4-6 replies with prices. BAM - lock thread. I am guessing up to 10 replies is more than enough to get your answer. Then these locked threads can be used to reference as well. Another rule is you have to put the year and model in the subject line, so people with similar cars can research more easily. Could be a useful section to buyers and sellers.

I agree with you but I see no reason for people to just begin flaming. If i wanted a hundred posts, i could have easily gotten them within the last year that i have been registered here.

-- Due to searching KBB values and autotrader values, there seems to be a big difference in what the car is said to be worth on paper and what people are willing to pay for it. Thats why I thought, hey.. why not ask some people that know the market value so that I can decide on a fair price

Again, thanks for the replies.
