I did take out the cup holders and stock radio and plop in a Navigation/iPod/MP3/Bluetooth all-in-one Kenwood (pics below); the standard CD wasn't working for me.

It's a nice, relatively inexpensive unit (was $1,400 for unit, install and warranty). The trip computer (pic below) is pretty nice: shows averages for moving and stopped... something I hadn't seen before.

Now I just need to find the right parts to convert the CD holders into a pocket to hold the wallet and phone.
