PSS9's vs PSS10"s

I just spoke with AWE in PA, about upgrading to PSS9's. They reccomend that I wait and get the new PSS10's installed instead. Does anybody have any experience or opinions about the differences between the two? I understand that the PSS9's have been dicontinued and replaced by the PSS10's. The PSS10's are supposed to begin shipping in MAY.

That I know of, the major difference is that the 10's are 10 way adjustable and have a dial **** that shows what setting you are on rather than just a clicker. The 10's have been on the market for a few months with limited supply. I just got mine installed last week. Check Tire Rack for the best price.

The price for the two seems to be about the same. Just need to wait on the shipment for the NB configuration.

I have PSS10s on my 2004 TT-cab...love them!! TR has them at the same price as the 9s. If you do the 10s, you might as well upgrade the front/rear sways to H&R!!

If same price...or even 200-300 diff its prob worth it, these coilovers should last the life of the car if you dont beat up on it regularly.

The biggest difference between the 9 and 10 kit is the new valving provides more consistency between **** clicks. Whereas the 9 shock may have changed 8% between say, 7-8, and 11% between 8-9, etc. the PSS10 is said to be a 10% change from click to click. The 10 kit also adds the 10th click and the adjustment **** is much bigger and easier to get at.

The PSS9 kits looks like or similiar to this:

And the new PSS10 kits look like this. Notice the nicer ***** (with one additional adjustment) and updated construction:

We are doing our best to keep them in stock and at the best price. Please contact me if interested.

pss9 are a pain in the *** to adjust, especially trying to remove that blue rubber cap. If you adjust often, the 10's are the way to go. However, performance wise they should be the same.
