Too good to be true?

gents (and ladies),

does this deal on Ebay seem like to much of a good deal? i've never seen Techart wheels this cheap and so it makes me suspect.

thoughts and feedback would be most appreciated:

who knows? they look like techart "formula GTS" wheels. they're kinda beat up. i don't trust ebay in general for high dollar items; too easy to get ripped off.

Those were my thoughts as well, look like they could use some TLC, don't be missled by the shiney first pic, plus those are probably atleast 19". Still a beautifull design though.

Cool

"plus those are probably atleast 19"."
Ummm...no. Wheel in pic is stamped 10.5 x 18"

A guy with that many transactions and 100% feedback is prob legit.

They look to be in decent shape. An "OK" deal, but not "Killer" IMO.

Too good to be true, not really! The price is about right for 18 in. Beside, he has good record with EBAY and he probably run a salvage yard or deal with wrecking business. I know a couple people go to salvage auction in N. Hollywood every week to bid on total loss cars from insurance companies.

they are okay, needs to be re-finished... the price is right on for the selling price of 18" TechArts on eBay. I bought a set off ebay about a year ago and paid only 1K for mine

keep in mind it costs 700-1000 to refinish them

thanks for the feedback. i missed the 18" wheel aspect. they do look pretty beat up. perhaps the 1500 asking price is even high under those assumptions.

Someone can refinish those for $400 for the whole set and they could look great again.
