Porsche with pinstripe sticker

Has anyone done this? I went to the dealership yesterday and saw it on a cayman. It's a matte black sticker stripe down the whole car with porsche design. Kinda like it plus I have a black car. I have a buddy that can copy it for $150.

heh- I saw an exact same Cayman at the Beverly Hills, CA dealer the other day.
IMO it looks odd.

Not sure if u guys know, but because of poor sales, porsche decided to do some special editions, ie, the GTS, and this cayman. Not bad IMO

maybe not bad on a Cayman but not on a 996.

The only way I could see it maybe working is if the entire car was tricked out to the gills, and the stripes sort of tied it all in. ...again just my 2c...

I personal think it's ugly and thought they could do something better with the cayman then make a "Porsche Design" cayman and jack up the price. To each their own, I've only seen it on that model cayman.

I like the TechArt Cayman.... much better than some graphics... but then again it doesn't cost $150....

I've seen it live, also, plus on an R32 they had. It looks very ricey and I would think you'd get tired of it. VW, yes, Porsche, no.

go for it. it's subtle and isn't totally "out there" as it would be on a lighter shade.

Saw that same model at the Calgary Auto Show. I thought it looked sharp on the Cayman, and may even look okay on the Boxter. Don't think it would be as good on a 996 though...

You could always try photoshopping it first.

I saw the same car at my dealer and thought it looked awesome. I like matt black with gloss black. I think it would look good on a 996 as long as you spent the money to do a good job. If it is cheap job, it will look cheap.

i think it looks pretty good myself. it's understated being close value to the black. i'm not a huge fan of the cayman aesthetics, especially the back end, so anything to take attention away from that is an improvement IMO.
