Are surging gas prices changing your driving habbits?
Now my Math maybe out but:
UK gas = $2.30 per UK litre (current exchange rate)
1 UK litre = .264 US Gallons
Therefore 1 US gallon = 3.788 UK litres
Cost of 3.788 UK litres = $8.71 = 1 US gallon
Doing a rough check you guys pay around $3.69 ish ??????
AND you get more sun!
AND hotter girls...

Yes we have more sun, fun, and girls.
I paid $3.99 for a gallon of premium last night just outside of DC.
The UK's gov't taxes you guys to hell, sorry. I always do keep our gas prices in perspective of what Europe has to pay.

All I can see is my family spend less on luxury and impulse buys. But meet & run in So. Cal are still in the schedule for me. I can't see one weekend without taking my car out for a nice, relaxing spin in S. Cal beautiful weather. That's why we live here in the first place. I like to enjoy the P-car as much as possible, who's know tomorrow I may not have the benefit to enjoy it anymore. Life can be cruel!!!

I'm a Brit that moved to California some 12 years ago. When I moved here it was laughably cheap and now it's just half price. My buddies that come here wish they had it so easy.
Once you start looking at what you pay per gallon for Starbucks or that cute bottled water ... or cans of redbull ... then you quickly realize it's one of the cheaper fluids on the market.
It'll take $15 / gallon here in the US to trigger anything major.
