OK - I need more educatin'. I've only heard 2nd hand that it's $1,000. Even at $500, I'm not going to jump into it - maybe soon, but not right now. But, I want the right amount in my head.

I just checked one vendor (invisiblemask.com) who listed the following for 3M kits:

Short Bumper Kit $122.46
Short Hood Fender and Mirro Kit $58.56.
Headlight $61.49

What else would I need and how much would labor be for this install?

As for it being "so '80s", big deal. I haven't had a soul comment on the bra. I've had lots of praise for the car. And I still don't have any damage to the front of my car or mirrors - not a speck.

I respect your opinion that it's not a big deal. Now in my opinion, and granted it's mine, I think it kills the looks of any car and looks cheap and horrible. But that's just my opinion . Also, you drive a Porsche, most people would just love looking at it and not focus on the bra, or they don't have the heart to tell you.

Well stated. And that's cool. My wife does have the heart to tell me and she doesn't like them, so you may be right. Oh well, I'm saving my money for repairs/service.

The bottom line is that it's a piece of functional hardware. I've also seen at least a few Porsches with clear bras that have road damage that has pierced through the clear plastic. The old bra doesn't have that problem.

It occurred to me that johnny1423 is just looking for a bra for his drive to Parade. If no one responds, you should check out Performance Products. They sell them, but the dealer with the PCA discount isn't that much more and it has the Porsche crest (if that's something you'd like).
