Forgive me if you know this or it has been discussed before but I was unaware of this function and am assuming others are as well.

I recently purchased a C4S with Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE). I love it but could not figure out why the sound diminished between 30-45 mph. I was browsing renntech.org yesterday and found an article describing the cut-out. It turns out the cut-out is a noise reduction function that cuts out the PSE between 30-45 mph.

The renntech site has a great thread on removing the appropriate relay so you can enjoy the sweet sound all the time.

Yes, I have. So far it's the best thing I have done to it. Sounds great! and was simple to do.

 

Yes, I had the dealer make the change before I picked it up.

 

Absolutely! I had the dealer do it while he installed the PSE. Alternatively I could have not installed the switch at all - just open all the time - but then I wouldn't have had one empty swich less to stare at me...
