Why I am so happy right now
I don't see much of my P-car... but this past week I was in town to pull it out of storage and put a couple hundred more miles on it... I can not believe how much I love this car. I keep figuring i'm going to move back out west so while i'm in Boston the car stays out west. Check out the total mileage in 3 years of its life
The thing is barely broken in.

and one crappy night shot, but you get the point

I seriously couldn't wipe a smile off of my face for the entire time I was in it. All thoughts of selling because I never use it went right out the door.

hey SLC4S...I kind of understand your situation. I have a MB 350CLK cab sitting in a garage with less than 800 miles on it after a year. I just want a car there when I do get there...and some some POS.
Fortunately my Porsche is in my main stay.

I know its horrible for the car to sit as much as it does. I'll try and make the case that I am not an abusive parent and that I do deserve the partial custody that I enjoy.
I did get the oil changed, plugs would be a good idea as well although it ran better than ever. I learned my lesson the hard way after letting it sit for too long once. Ever had to jump start your car? It seriously is like a 35 step process that requires an engineering degree. Since then it hasn't gone more than 30-50 days without somebody taking it around the block and giving it a little bit of love. When I moved to Boston I thought that I would be here for 6 months. One opportunity lead to another and then another and I've now been living here and loving this town for nearly two years. On Sunday I fly out for a final meeting in LA and if it all works out I'll probably be moving within a month or two and the P-car would meet me there. I don't want the car to be a garage queen, but I do love the fact that it still looks/smells brand new.

yep... North End... another reason having the car here would be difficult. You?
at this point selling it would be nasty and painful because the car is still brand new but has depreciated like crazy. Can't sell until I've enjoyed it enough to justify the depreciation. I can have a couple of really high mileage years now and still have a low mileage car when I do say goodbye... that is... if I ever do sell... I just might hold on to this one forever. I really do love it.
Wow, that was a quick ban...rough crowd.
To the OP: great car, I'd agree, there's no reason to sell it now, you've already eaten a huge chunk of depreciation. Move out here and drive the hell out of it! I'd definitely keep a beater around for LA--people drive/park like retards out here.

That guy was not a nice person. He has been asking for it for a long time, Control it did the right thing.
yeah... do a quick search of his posts and you'll see a couple back and forths between the two of us... as well as about 100 other members here... pretty sure he legitimately came from a family with tons of money but he needed to get over it. It takes a lot more than money to impress 80% of the people on this forum...
yep... C4S...
thanks for the nice replies guys... I love the car and one way or another I'll get some miles on her.
edit: haha... POST 911... now i can't post again for a while... I guess I could post lots and get up to 996

Let me know what town your car is in out west so when I visit, I do not need a rental car. I can help you help your car.
I will love it as I love mine and I will help your car be happy because it wants to be driven. I mean driven hard. Just kidding when I see a car like yours I wish mine only had that many miles on it. I only have 34,000.00 but compared to your odometer it seems old. Enjoy your ride.
