Thumbs down Major Breakdown of my Fabspeed.

Are these exhausts junk or what? My friend and I got ours put on at the same time. His rusted out after 5 months so Champion replaced it with a Phenoix for free. I have had mine now for around 3 years and the Resonance is getting so bad now its ear splitting at high RPM's. I am thinking of ditching the Fabspeed. What is the best HP combo out there? I am thinking of getting the Cat's and Headers too. I will only have this car for another year so this will be the last investment.

Call Joe Fabiani at FabSpeed. I am sure he would do you right. He is a stand-up guy.

I agree that Joe is a standup guy... I have spoken to him and defended his products back on Funcars over 4 years ago.

But whether he makes it right or not does not speak to the quality of the products... That is what needs to be addressed. Others on this board had issues also in the past... Aka Evan.. and others...

The ussue with Evan and others was for the TT exhaust - totally different from NA
That problem WAS resolved by a design change on later models...
Talk to Joe as heis great to deal with and WILL make this right. His TT exhaust is simply THE best exhaust for those after HP period...(yeah I know the whole only up to a certain HP thing etc. but for most people who go to 600 it is fine)

Get a Europipe and be done with it, you get what you pay for, I have had many exhausts and their quaility is second to none!

I had the B&B on my last 996. Its not as loud as the Fabspeed but it is nice quality.

If you get a B&B, make sure it is the Lemans version and not the GT

The GT is way too loud and sounds horrible!

I would say either go with PSE, nice agressive sound and great quality. If you want aftermarket, I recommend TechArt or Cargraphic.
