The battery in my 99 model needed periodic maintenance by topping off the fluids. I forgot to check the fluids, perhaps that is why it went through two batteries. You will want to use distilled water. I have not checked the battery in the GT3, but I am hoping that it is maintenance free as I recall seeing some during the factory tour.

Is it me or do you think Porsche could spring for real leather on the 3 spoke wheel especially when you order full leather and the thicker wheel?

ESK. The rim is leather while the center is not. With the full leather, you would think they would cover the center too.
