Photos of the new GT3

I picked her up late yesterday afternoon. First impression... good G_d that color is bright. It is true what they say, do not get Speed Yellow if you do not like the attention. I could feel folks staring from across the interstate. It rained on me the whole way home (~100 miles) so I did not get to play to much. Probably for the best as I am trying to break her in properly. The engine sounds are intoxicating, and the acceleration is addictive. The ride is not as harsh as I was expecting and it feels firmer than the ROW M030 on my C2.

As optioned... Speed Yellow, black full leather, PCCB, lowered seats, thicker wheel, yellow belts, colored wheel crests.

Sorry for the poor photos... it was raining out so I had to take some photos inside the garage.

Hey Jeru... The timing on local meets, PCA events, and other track days have been horrible for me the past few months. I have been way to busy with a wedding date fast approching. One of these days... perhaps sometime after September.

Yellow has never been a favorite of mine.......until now! That looks awesome. They had one displayed at a local dealership and it was certainly drawing a crowd.

Best of luck.

BTW, What is that black cord running from the door to the front of the car?

That is the cord for the battery maintainer.

Yellow was never my favorite but I'm changing my mind, its looks fantastic especially with the matching yellow PCCB's calipers
Congrats!

Thanks again all... Yellow was never my favorite color either... until recently that is. Nothing like "Hello Officer Yellow". Had I speced the car myself... it would have been Guards Red!

sloth why do u need a battery amintainer for the 996?

there are times that i dont even drive my car for 2-3 weeks and teh car goes on sleep mode.. where it conserves the battery and the car still starts with just one click ..

just curious...

Not sure 02barebones...

The dealer gave it to me when I got the first 996. Since the car is not a daily driver, I figured I should use it. Besides, I want to be sure that the car starts when I am ready to take her out. I just need to remember to top off the battery every now and then as the fluids boil away after a while.
