The painted brake line is the way Brembo does them for PORSCHE and so I always finish them as such. Of course you can see the lower set which I done in my taste by polishing, installing and clear coating them along with the rest of the caliper.

Yeah, even though a great company like Brembo does them that way, it doen't mean it looks good to all.

But I dig our same taste....I like the polished brake line. My favorite is when brake lines are stainless steel braided, giving the race look.

Nice thread and some great results! I have a related question--have any of you touched up small chips on existing (factory painted) calipers? Any suggestions as to paint and/or technique? Thanks

Eli,

That is a great job. You really took your time and removed all the old product. I have never seen such an intresting finish. The quality work you do is awesome.

Guys been wanting to do my calipers yellow, but I have searched everywhere in Houston to find the yellow kit. All I see are red and black kits. Anyone know a local place in Houston to get yellow. If not I guess I am gonna have to order it online. For some reason the kits price is higher online than at local stores.
