Which wing? Thouhts please...
Ok, throwing another option in the mix, GT3 MKII with RS endplates...

It keeps with the MKII on a MKII but gives it the GT Street edge.
Also, it's a insert not a complete decklid, fitting on the electric wing recess. Anyone had one of these fitted? Potentialling using a company called RennSpeed http://rennspd.com Good, Bad? Seems to have ok feedback on Rennlist...

if i were personally going with the 996 GT3 RS wing id go for the full lid swap over an insert. the oversized wing on an insert just shouts yikes to me. sort of like those cars with some generic autostore wing bolted to their rear.
the regular gt3 mk2 wing as in insert just scrapes by the taste police though isnt ideal but this is too much IMHO.
the gt3 rs uses the regular gt3 mk2 base but replaces the table top with that longer blade and end pieces. this means that you can upgrade a regular gt3 or aero 2 by just unbolting your upper wing and swapping for this.
i actually like the RS wing look, especially when in bare carbon fiber but you need to have a gt3 front end on your car to pull it together. its beauty is in its function rather than its aesthetics and if you only have this on the rear that functionality is removed and it becomes rather silly.

Thanks Neil, perfect answer. Been doing more research and not going down this route after all, apparently for the RS wing you should have the GT3 front and cup lip together. Plus, just been to see a friends GT3 with it on and it suits the 3, not the NA...
Replicas are everywhere, just type in 'TA style' into Ebay, originals only from dealers, see the Techart website for a list.
HotRodGuy - I like the no wing look but don't like the OEM spoiler when it raises, would like something to get rid of this hence the wing search...

This one gets my vote.
pull the fuse! My thoughts just are wings don't look right on the cars that weren't ment to have them, most look like they are trying to be something else.
I see your point but simply pulling the fuse would not work, the car needs that extra downforce at speed.
No-one is trying to be something they're not, that's like saying all NA guys with an aero kit are wannabe GT3s, what about GT3s that put RSR wings on? Or 993s with turbo bodies? Putting a GT3 badge on a NA is wrong but I don't think you can say the same for aero modifications...
