Well, I had to try - now I know. I kind of like the Carrera script - when it was placed below the doors... The other I probably want to take of...And for all of you hateing this - i did not destroy the car - It's removeable..

I was wondering what that would look like, I have a black 996 also. Thanks for being the guinea pig!

I think the carrera lettering is a cool, old school/new school look but i think in this instance however, the contrast is a little too stark and somewhat pasty looking. I think it might be cool to go with maybe a dark gray to give it a sophisticated and understated look. see attached comp ...

I dont mind the white...I think it would look cleaner with a 5-10 spoke rim though

I would go even darker than the photoshop, but don't think it looks bad on either example

+1 on a dark gray lettering or even 2 shades lighter than black, sort of "ghosted"-
IMHO the white is too much contrast with the rest of the car all black. Nothing to tie it in. For example, a black GT3 with orange lettering ties it in with orange mirrors and wheels.

nice of you to post pics and share the results.

The darker grey is a more elegant and classic look, with the White, first thought is way too flamboyant.

To each his own though.

If you're going for the "race" look, I'd suggest removing the window tint and re-applying the Carrera decals above the side skirts.
