Engine breakin trip pics the good and bad

Well decided to break my rebuilt eng in from Strasse by going to St George UT where my relatives are then Vegas, but just made it to UT and found my RMS leaking when I got there. I hope the eng they put in next month lasts longer then this one and I am looking at it as another vacation. The engine did run really well though ... I took a few pictures on the road through N Arizona and california city where the women really do braid there hair and where long skirts and white shoes and wash there trucks at the $1 car wash. So the trip was disappointing with my car in the back of my head and not being able to do any drafting with my brother which when I left his CAD XLR develped a leak at its RMS (XLR use a split crankcase?), of course I blammed it on him that he parked to close to mine. Anyway here's a couple of bad pictures and in first picture the boulders in the back ground are the size of small houses and is great scenery if it was not for all the cops that laborday weekend.
PS one thing I do like about the XLR is the heads up display.

Yes, Robert said he would have another engine ready by the 13th of next month and did not give me any greif on the phone and will call again to remind him.... he's alittle like the absent minded professor but, I just hope the crankcase is a good one. It's been so long since I had my SC on I just might forget how to mount it again.

Those are my favorite wheels by the way, your car looks awesome! Good luck with the next engine.

Thanks for straightening me out on that and will make the changes, great user name by the way. First thing that came to my mind was real or orida... LOL. Yes, I like simpicity also the rims give me the old and new porsche look and the movement looks like they are turning backwards at slow speed like the 70's rims of the past and are just real easy to clean just another plus for me. I will finish the look with the RUF front and side skirts when money becomes available.

Actually there was another issue and that was with the new wheels and tires. I went with 19's and Verdstein tires 235/35 and 295/30 and the sidewall on them is seems taller then my bridgestones and caused rubbing a hole on my loose inner wheel well cover just on the left front not a biggy though.

Mother, thanks for sharing the pictures. You car looks great and the scenery is beautiful. You have had a rough time with your project. I'm glad to hear you still have a positive outlook. It will be all worth it when you get the SC back on and everything is running right.
