exhaust upgrade experiences/opinions part2..

previous post:

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ns-please.html

ok so i got the ghl and really like it. quiet as stock for normal driving and gets louder as you get on it.

the problem is, i'm thirsty for more! i want a slightly louder exhaust than this without bassy resonace/droniness. a little in cabin sound at cruising speed would be acceptable. im looking for a little more, not a lot more sound as it's my daily driver.

suggestions besides tubi or pse? pm me if anyone is selling any used.

You can always change headers or upgrade to a 200 cell sport cat. That will definetly increase in sound.

SpeedArt...just sick.

Made in Deutschland a big plus

You get what you pay for in mufflers.
People do get biased with what they run with and that becomes the best.
Go with high end/expensive mufflers and your chances of satisfaction go way up, like most anything.
I'd go tubi, PSE, FVD, SpeedArt, etc...(yeah, slightly biased but not much lol).
FVD, for example, will give a full refund if you do not like them after you install and test them out.

****, ust throw lots of money at it

PSE on the Carreras has that guttural roar that none of the other aftermarket exhausts can begin to touch. It's addicting and one of my favorite features about my 911. I couldn't do without it. It's really what sets this car apart from all the others I've owned and have listened to.

If you would have said most I'd agree w/you.
Your slightly biased opinion and kind of somewhat opinionated nature blinds you my good man

you know. you can always get a VF supercharger. it makes your car sound SOOOO much louder

i doubt that the PSE or Tubi is louder than what you have at WOT. i would suspect that comparing what you have to PSE or Tubi would just be the note you hear. i don't think it would be louder

but i have to say, after i got my vf supercharger on the car, it made my car SOOOO much louder. i guess thats what force induction does

you don't think the PSE and Tubi sound similar? i think the two are very similar. the PSE is a bit higher pitched while the Tubi is a bit deeper sounding. i love how both sounds

I am extremely happy with my Cross exhaust. There are some nice exhausts out there that sound good, but I would put the Cross workmanship (welds, finish and fitment) up against any, and the sound is aggressive without interior drone. It may be on the deep but quiet side with stock cats, but with free-flow cats or cat pipes (I have 'hardly' resonated custom cat pipes) it's perfect for aggressive without being abnoxious.
